Since 2012

La Sosta is an authentic Italian restaurant and a stylish cocktail bar in the heart of Fremantle.

La Sosta has grown over the past 5 years from a small restaurant to a gorgeous 2-level space for every occasion.

In Italian, La Sosta means “Stopover” and there is always a good reason to stop here. The kitchen will delight you with a great selection of entrées, generously sized pasta plates, irresistible inhouse-made desserts, and an extensive wine list.

At La Sosta, all our food is prepared in-house starting with our fresh authentic pasta, butter, sauces and wood-fired bread- all uniquely made to our family recipes. 

We only work with the best Western Australian & Italian food suppliers, ensuring that we always have the best and fresh ingredients. You’ll find a large variety of dishes made to satisfy any palate - seafood, steaks, variety of handmade fresh pastas, large choice of entrees, extensive wine list and irresistible in-house made desserts.

Sincerely passionate for food, simplicity and quality ingredients, Matteo is the soul, heart and brain of LaSosta. Matteo's motto is 'we will do everything to make La Sosta guests happy'!

Pauline is the person behind the scenes who makes sweet magic. Pauline has extensive knowledge of chocolate. Pauline will create a special custom-made cake of any size for your wedding or anniversary to make your event even more memorable and delicious!
